Due to a new regulatory initiative, our Financial Services client is seeking to recruit an experienced - Planning Lead

 

Must be an expert in the use of Microsoft Project


 

Planning Lead

Key Accountabilities

  • Definition and implementation of planning standards and hierarchies
  • Production and maintenance the Programme Roadmap
  • Production and maintenance of the overall Programme plan
  • Identification of the Programme critical path
  • Provision of  guidance and direction regarding the production of Phase and Project plans
  • Regular review and challenge of Project plans with Project Managers
  • Production and maintenance cross-Programme dependency, risk & issue logs
  • Programme dependency management, risk & issue reporting
  • Direction and guidance to project and workstream managers
  • Assurance support (including working closely with project and workstream managers to see that all required standards are applied)
  • Production of tailored reports to inform management briefing packs

Experience desired

  • High level of skill in the use of Microsoft Project
  • Wide Financial Services experience with a good understanding of planning and project management
  • 1st class communication skills and a keen attention to detail
  • Some actuarial exposure would be advantageous
